This is a comprehensive roadway wringer of operations withal the Arapahoe Road corridor from I-25 to Buckley Road. This wringer will squint at the current spritz of traffic withal this stretch of roadway and identify short and long-term improvements at intersections withal the corridor. The overall goal of this study is to identify and prioritize improvements to safety and  operations withal the corridor while recognizing current and future minutiae potential will protract to influence the weft of the corridor. University Boulevard - Hampden Avenue to Arapahoe Road Contact: Email, 303-317-2112 Start Date: July 9, 2018 Estimated End Date: Early 2019 Estimated Cost:  The Colorado Department of Transportation and Contractor partner, APC Construction Co., LLC, will uncork resurfacing the roadway, installing ADA ramps at every intersection, replacing curb, gutter and sidewalks at various locations, and conducting underpass work on University Boulevard. Work on this project will uncork at US 285, mile point 6.28, and will move southbound to Arapahoe Road, mile point 1.37, on CO 177. Daytime work hours will last between 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic impacts during daytime work will mostly occur between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Overnight work hours between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. are expected later on in the project. Motorists should expect various lane closures on northbound and southbound University Boulevard during the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the work zone during working days. Various lane closures are moreover expected during overnight work.
